About Mr. Gonzalez
|
Mr. González teaches general music at Trace and was voted Teacher of the Year by his colleagues for the 2022-2023 school year. He is a graduate of Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA and University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. During his time at Cabrillo, he was a member of the choral program under the direction of Cheryl Anderson. At University of the Pacific, he performed with the opera program and studied voice with Professor Burr C. Phillips. Recently, Mr. González has become a member of the American Orff Schulwerk Association and is progressing towards becoming a Certified Orff Music Instructor through the program at San Jose State University. He is looking forward to establishing a strong choral program that offers an opportunity for students to sing in a performing ensemble at Trace.
