What You’ll Learn
Students will gain an understanding of musical theory, including pitch, rhythm, and harmony, and will develop their vocal abilities through guided practice and exercises. The program will also emphasize the importance of teamwork and collaboration, as students work together to create a cohesive and harmonious sound. Additionally, participants will have opportunities to enhance their stage presence and confidence through performances. Overall, the choir program will foster a love for music and provide a creative outlet for self-expression.

Rehearsal Schedule
Tuesday & Friday before school at 7:40-8:20 AM, starting the week of 9/8/25.

Volunteer

Session Lengths
Campers can enroll in either four- or eight-week sessions, depending on how immersive they’d like their summer to be. A four-week stay offers a vibrant introduction and plenty of time to grow, while eight weeks allow for deeper projects and stronger community bonds. Both options promise a full camp experience packed with creativity and adventure.

Adam Henriques
teacher & choir enthusiastHello! As an alumni of Trace Elementary, I can’t wait to be back on campus and teaching your students all about music! My passion for the arts began at Trace and continued through my time at Hoover and Lincoln High School, where I played several instruments in the band and orchestra and sang in the choir. I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2023 with an undergraduate degree in business, but soon discovered my love and appreciation for teaching through a position at Starting Arts. I am so excited to get to know each student and be a part of this wonderful community here at Trace!
